5 French Luxury Retreats You Should Include in Your Travel Bucket List

Travelling the world and visiting beautiful places is a privilege we should all take advantage of. As the saying goes, life is a book. Failing to travel is like staying on one page of that book, you’ll be missing a lot of good things and experiences you could carry on as memories if you fail to travel and flip the pages for a wonderful french luxury retreats you should include in your travel bucket list.

Everyone dreams of having a luxurious treat of staying on a mansion in France as you uncover the hidden beauties of the world. I too, dream of being able to see the sun on a different view, take a breath out of a welcoming view or simply enjoy the waves as I lazily relax watching the stars and the moon rise at night. We all dream of travelling. The different I guess is that I tend to dream big. Travelling, as suggested by NatGeo, is an adventure everyone should experience and take advantage of, something I intend to achieve in the near future.

Here are five of my top dream destinations, places that you might want to include in your travel bucket lists too.

Le Chateau d’Avignon

This beautiful luxury villa is located at the rarely traveled parts of Provence, France. Once a castle for bishop, the 14th century beauty is now restored to its former glory. It now hosts as much as two dozen people under a hefty price tag of $4,000 up to $5,500 a night. I’m a big dreamer so you’ll see a lot of zeros in the places that I’ll tag as my dream vacation places.

What’s to love more about the place. It’s exclusive so you might end up spending the night in the same villa with a celebrity or a politician. They also have stunning gardens and grounds perfect for souvenir photos as well as outdoor dining. If you are up to savoring the charms the Old World offers, saving up for a night or two in this destination is worth it.

Villa Lustre

Sometimes, I prefer to relax but be relatively near the conveniences that I am accustomed to. This is the reason why Villa Lustre, located in the Cannes Area, French Riviera in France caught my eye for adventure. You’ll be surrounded with beautiful gardens and a stunning view of the hills and the sea. What I look forward to is its convenient location the beach as well as shopping and dining areas around Cannes. Although I think I’ll have to save a lot for this trip since a night can cost around $4,000 to $8,000.

Maison Rouge

To be able to enjoy a luxury retreat without breaking the bank and hurting my finances, a trip to Maison Rouge would be something I am about to achieve in a year or less. Located at the Luberon Area, still in Provence, France, this beautiful retreat is a good place to spend afternoons basking under the sun with the view of the Alps located at a distance. You won’t end up spending all your travel fund savings during this trip. A night will only cost you around $350 to $1,000 a night. This is one of the best deals on this list.

Whether you are travelling as a group or if you prefer travelling solo, you’ll definitely enjoy the beauty and facilities Maison Rouge offers. It’s so close to nature, so it’s a perfect avenue to rejuvenate and relax your tired spirits.

Duplex Hermes

Paris is another dream destination on my list. It’s romantic, busy and the lights are endearing especially at night. If you prefer the busy nightlife and the convenience of the city as well as the museums and parks in busy downtown Paris, Duplex Hermes is the best place of destination for you. Located at 8e Arrondissement, Champs-Elysees, Paris, France will require you to shell out around $1,200 to $1300 a night.

You’ll be conveniently located near the high-fashion districts and shopping areas. This elegant duplex is perfect for honeymoons or solo trip since it can only accommodate up to three couples. What’s to love about the place? It features stunning private balconies overlooking neighboring buildings. If you’re a fan or architecture, the intimate dining areas, sky-lit bedrooms and marble bath tubs are just a few of the beauties you can look forward too.

Blue Dawn

Corsica is another endearing town in France I would love to experience. The climate, the people, the scenery and the culture are just so vivid. The exclusivity of the places also makes it a perfect destination for the serene personality that I have. The rental that was developed back in the 1960’s will shell you out anywhere from $2,500 to $5,000 a night. A sea lover like me would enjoy the warm summer at the white beaches located in the area. Golf courses are also a plenty and located a few minutes away.

This is the destination that I would prefer bringing my family as well. They have kid-friendly facilities and any member of the family would love to be pampered with the villa’s facilities. A few things to love about this destination are the numerous outdoor adventure you can try and experience. There are tennis courts around and everything offers a cozy and relaxing appeal for both young and older guests. The picturesque cliffs of Corsica are also located just a few minutes away.

There are a lot of other interesting and stunning places to visit in France. Believe me or not, Paris is just one of the flavors Paris have to offer. If you will spend time looking and prospecting for other bed and breakfast or medieval themed destinations, you will be surprised with how much you are missing out.

A trip to France is one of the top things on my bucket list. These 5 luxury destinations are just some of the places I would like to go and experience, together with so many other destinations from other parts of the continent. But do remember to be a responsible traveler, make sure to read my post on how to be one. Time to spruce up your travel goals list and include a few of my favorite French luxury destinations above.
