It’s more fun in the Philippines

In regards to DOT (Department of Tourism) new campaign, I would like to give my fair share of post to help boost our tourism.  “It’s more fun in the Philippines” was developed by  BBDO Guerrero | Proximity Philippines and aims to promote the Philippines tourism.

Just a few days after the announcement of the new slogan, it was already judge by critics that it was only patterned from the 1951 Switzerland  tourism slogan.  Coincidence or copycat?

Yes, I believe that Switzerland has many things to offer and I for sure will love to go there and tour around it’s famous Swiss alps, eat my favorite chocolates, bungee jumping and do whatever  my heart desires.

It's more fun in the Philippines

Although, we don’t have any alps nor a beautiful castle like the Chateau de Chillon or The Rhine Falls by Neuhausen which was the largest water falls in Europe, we have the famous Palawan Underground River which was recently included in the World’s 7 Wonder of Nature, we have the beautiful  Boracay, Caramoan, Puerto Princesa, with it’s pristine white sand.  Mt. Mayon, Chocolates Hills, Tall Volcano are just an examples of mountains that will make any visitor appreciate the beauty of nature.

If skiing is one of your favorite, why not try the wake boarding at CWC, Pili, Camarines Sur, you can feel the thrill and fun under the heat of the sun. If you love eating, you can enoy the wide array of different Filipino delicacies and most of all the warm greetings of Filipino people.

Even though we have many flaws and the recent tragedy struck us in awe, we were able to manage all the problems and face the trials with smile and hope that everything will be better with the help of the Good Lord, perseverance and patience, that’s one characteristics that we can be proud of.

Visit the Philippines and see for yourself the beauty and wonder it beholds. Truly fun and captivating and world class.

Any bright ideas could come any time. No genuine ideas could be claimed as far as I’m concerned. They’re already there since the world began. They’re tapped by the wise and brilliant people or even an ordinary one. Either coincidence or copycat, it doesn’t matter as long as the PH tourism is promoted.

  9. It is indeed more fun in the Philippines not only because it’ s a country of breath taking tourist spots but also because of the courtesy and kindness of the people who live in it.
