Pahk from Nature Bag – Worlds most popular nature bag

nature bag - earth's greenest bag

nature bag

You might have heard me for a dozen time the value of using reusable bags and how it can help our Mother earth a more better place to live by slowly eliminating the use of plastic bags while doing tasks that needed the help of our bags.

Since the popularity of eco-bags , there are many kinds of bags that are made available to public .  Well known brands and shopping malls have created their own version of eco-bags but there is one particular eco-bag that caught my attention and learning how it was crafted and perfected, made me realize that this is indeed worth sharing and having.

Nature Bags are created by the  Khmu tribe of Northern Laos, each bags are crafted at the comfort of their own home from natural wild-growing fiber called the jungle vine which thrives without agriculture. No chemicals.  No irrigation.  No cultivation and harvested and processed by hand.

The remnants of the fabric that’s used in crafting a Nature Bag can also be used as an organic skin conditioning cloth, for experimentation, as a novelty gift or for inclusion into a quilt or other cloth item.

Each bags are created with love and passionate desire to share  and by buying one, you have given a chance to improve their lives for the better.

I got the chance to have and review one of their finest eco-bags which is called the Pahk bag which is one of their popular bag.

The bag is very light but you can see that it was built to last.  This biodegradable eco-friendly bag in medium size is very simple yet very fashionable. It can serve a lot of purpose for me aside from using them in my shopping spree.  Because it was strongly built, i can even use this for my stuff in going to the gym.  I can’t wait to share you it’s many uses, so better come back here to view my OOTD with my stylish Nature Bag.

Aside from this bag, Nature Bag also offers different designs,  you can visit their eco-bag collection for other designs that suits your personality and style. One particular design that i love is the Beach because of it’s color combination.

I love the simpleness of this eco-bag but behind that simple design is the fact that by using them, you are not just helping the tribe of  Khmu but the best part is that you are helping our environment to be a better one.

As others says, organic products doesn’t come cheap, and sometimes they are a little bit expensive than the ordinary one but as i have always stated, natural and eco-friendly materials and products gives a far more better outcome than the regular one.  Products are created with the use of bare hands and some were sold with a corresponding amount given to a charity or notable advocacy.

This bags sells for $15 and i have seen eco-bags that are even sold for $30 to even more than $100 which carries branded names.  So, if we have the capacity to buy them , why not try the Nature Bag which offers more sustainable benefits and the chance to help our fellow Laos people to have a better life that they so deserve.

Using eco bags is so important for so many reasons, the least of which is that it reduces our consumption of petroleum products!

  20. md kennedy says:

So many towns and cities have banned plastic bags altogether, and some have required a charge. I wish there was a federal law that would outright ban them. I kow jobs would be lost, but they could be made up in the demand for reusable bags. This owuld be such a help not only to our country’s eco-system but would help stop the build-up of the “plastic sea” in the Pacific and of micro-particles of plastic in the fish we eat.

Eco-friendly bags are important for reducing waste of harmful plastics in our environment.

  22. Kim Pinch says:

I was already using reusable bags but using a natural reusable bag takes it to another level. What a great idea. As we gradually switch from disposable to reusable we are going to have to pay attention to what our reusable products are made of because they too will end up in landfil one day.

Eco-friendly bags are important because they eliminate waste in our landfills that take decades & sometimes centuries to break down. It cuts down on the cost for grocers who may one day not need to supply any bags at all! Hopefully, if the grocer can cut down on expenses, the consumer will benefit from that as well.

Our world has become such a “throw away” world it’s sad to see all the lanfills filling up with items that will never decompose. It is so important to use items in our everyday life that are re-usable such as this bag that is green to stop filling up the landfills .
