Palawan’s Underground River was officially named as one of the 7 Wonders of Nature and upon reading the post, i remember the time that we went to Puerto Princesa. We had the chance to visit the Underground river, although we already had our permit to go but because our darling Peachy is still very young at that time, we decided to pass the opportunity but leave the hope that someday, we will get the chance to visit Palawan again and the underground river would definitely be in our itinerary.
With it’s pristine white sand, Puerto Princesa is indeed a place that you can called haven.
Puerto Princesa is a city with many things to offer. There are many places to visit and the time was not enough for us to visit all of them. The place offers fresh and great tasting foods, inexpensive sea foods. Dining is really great in this place of town.
We were really lucky that God gave as sunny days to enjoy the island hopping. We were able to see the different islands like, snake island, pandan island, cowrie island, senorita island, dos palmas, bat island, luli island, starfish island, and the others which i already forgot because of its hard names.
There are different stories about each island and if ever i would write it here, would might bore you but just looking at the picture would change your boredom to delight. Words are not enough to describe their beauty. So i’ll let the pictures do the talking for you. I was just a bit annoyed because my digicam got run off charged, so i was a bit sad in the later part of the day.
Honda Bay is one of the visited tourist spots in this place. This is my first time to see real white and cream sand and it was so amazing. It is also my first time in snorkeling and the view below was really breathtaking. Just make sure to bring breads for the fishes to eat and whoooah, lots of different fishes dances in my sight. The breeze was so relaxing and the sight around you is so impressive.
